Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

Many well known artists seem to be jumping to give financial assistance to Purple Tinker for BroNYcon, and if anything, more assistance is still needed, so consider me jumping on the bandwagon to help. It's all for a good cause anyways.

In any case, all wallpapers will cost about $5. Any style, any resolution, any amount of characters.
Of course there are still a few guidelines, but they are rather simplistic:

- Keep the request in good taste. no racism, sexism, the usual moral code.
- I usually don't touch things such as character pairings. If though, you have a vector of something such as shipping that is not too suggestive, I just might consider it.
- It can be of anything. Ponies, video games, television shows, you name it. Just so long as there are high-quality resources available for me to use.
- If you want me to use an OC, please provide me with a drawing or vector with a transparent background, or one that can easily be removed without affecting the drawing itself.

No transactions of funds will be done until the wallpaper is completed. Once the wallpaper is complete, I will send you a notice, and the transaction will then occur.

The wallpaper of course is exclusive to you. No other person will get one other than yourself.

And of course, all proceeds go to Purple Tinker for BroNYcon.
