After a few people mentioned to me that I should take a shot at designing some Google Chrome themes because, as to quote them "I'd put it on it if you made one." So, I found an easy-to-use design program that inputs the images for me, without having to go through the hassle of the code. So, as a test, here is the first attempt. A Twilight Sparkle Chrome theme. At this point in time, it's in beta, and I'm still working out a few kinks, but that's why I put it up here. I need people with different monitor sizes to see how everything works out on it to be sure it doesn't begin looking sloppy at larger resolutions.
Installation Guide:
For both Mac & PC
Inside of the extracted zip file is a .crx file. Simply drag it into the browser. The download bar should appear with a warning message. Because it's not a registered item in the Chrome store, this is normal. Hit yes, and the theme will install.
My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic (C) , Studio B, & Hasbro Designed by Google Chrome (C) Why am I even putting this here. It should be obvious.
hi i know im a bit late on this one but i was wondering if you would be able to make a twilight sparkle theme for windows xp? and yes i said xp, last time i tried to update it it crash every 35mins on the dot. so would you be able to help me out?
Try right-clicking the document and clicking Open with. A window will show up saying that you have no programs that can open it. Select "Choose from a list of programs" and hit okay. Google Chrome should be listed as one of the programs. Choose it, and then the message on the download bar should appear.
You have to extract the file onto the desktop. You can't just drag and drop from the original file in winRAR. Drag the file from the desktop to the chrome open window.
